Kira is a New York based teaching artist committed to helping kids of all ages bring their unique sense of play to performance!
MORE ABOUT KIRA AS A TEACHER
Growing up in the arts has given Kira a passion for sharing her love of performing. She was extremely shy as a child and slowly found confidence in herself as an artist and human with the help of several amazing mentors and instructors. She hopes to be looked up to one day like she looked up to so many of her incredible teachers!
Kira has worked as a theater teacher for both elementary and middle schools. She is primarily a dance instructor, but taught an acting intensives over zoom during the pandemic as well as co-directed and choreographed a children’s theater production this past summer!
She has also been a Child Guardian for several regional theater productions in her hometown (Oahu, HI).
She has taught for Mainstages and is currently teaching at Spotlight Kids in Tribeca!
