Kira Mahealani Stone
About Kira!
Kira (she/her) is an artist born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawai’i! She grew up with the ocean in her back yard (literally) and also sat in hours of traffic every morning on her way to school.
She is an actor, dancer, singer, and teaching artist who graduated with a BFA in Drama and minor in Theater Education from New York University . During her time at NYU she studied acting in the Meisner studio, made some devised theater with Tisch All department Festival, traveled abroad to dabble in Shakespeare at RADA, and learned her way around a camera at Stonestreet Studios.
She has been involved in musical theater since the age of 7, but has been extremely lucky to have worked with some incredible peers on many different mediums of art over the past few years!
Kira loves going on walks with friends, all things purple, and may or may not have an unhealthy obsession with penguins. If she’s not onstage, on set, or teaching little ones, she’s usually in the kitchen working on a new vegan recipe!
